Spectacular 30th Anniversary Ball at Colney Hall

Thank you to all our guests and sponsors for your support and for celebrating with us our 30th Anniversary on Saturday 2nd June. The evening was one of the most successful Rogers & Norton balls in our history and you all helped make the night unforgettable.

With the help of over 400 guests we have raised approximately £10,000 to support our chosen charity Nelsons Journey and this figure continues to grow as we collect in further contributions arising from the Ball.

We will have  some photosgraphs and highlights from the night on our blog soon so keep checking for udates! We will also confirm the total amount raised for charity in due course.

April update on our June Ball

I am pleased to report that ticket sales are going exceptionally well and we have now sold 475 of the 500 seats available.  The attraction of Brasted’s preparing the food has been an obvious draw but we do still have 25 tickets for sale if anyone wishes to purchase them.  They are £60 each for a four course dinner with a champagne reception and half a bottle of wine per person on the evening.  For further information about ticket availability please speak to Graham Knights on 01603 675618 or gjk@rogers-norton.co.uk.

The event is being used as a springboard to promote not only the firm’s 30^th Anniversary but also the good work that Nelsons Journey, our chosen Charity for 2012, actually carry out to help children suffering with bereavement issues.  We have secured the services of Chris Rankin, an Actor in the Harry Potter films, who is also a Patron of Nelson’s Journey, who has very kindly agreed to donate his time for a tea party for four children in Norwich in the near future and this will be auctioned off on the evening to the highest bidder.  We are still looking for auction and raffle prizes to help with our fundraising and if you are able to help in this respect please do let me know on the above telephone number.  We can collect locally if required. 

We are also producing a Souvenir Ball Programme for the evening and there are opportunities available to advertise within the programme at a cost of £100.00 for a full colour A6 advert or £175.00 for the same advert but in an A5 size.  All of the proceeds from the programme will go directly to the Charity and if this is a way that you would wish to support Nelsons Journey whilst getting some good publicity in front of 500 local and regional businesses, please again get in touch.

Update on the Charity Ball

I am pleased to confirm that we now have reservations for over 340 seats at the Ball and it looks like being a sell out.  Brasted's have been very generous in negotiating with us for preparing the 4 course dinner for which we are grateful.  We are still offering limited VIP sponsorship opportunities to Companies wishing to profile themselves to many Norfolk businesses and we also have advertising space in the Ball programme too at a set cost of £100.00 for an A6 full colour ad.  For more information on ticket sales or advertising opportunities please contact Graham Knights on 01603 675618 or gjk@rogers-norton.co.uk and to discuss sponsorship packages which can be tailor made to suit your budget please contact Julie-Ann Gage on julieanngage@hotmail.co.uk. 

We are also looking for raffle and auction prizes for the evening if you wish to support our charity, Nelson's Journey, by this method.  The Charity is local and helps children who have suffered bereavement in some way so we consider them a very worthy cause for our fundraising efforts.  Collection of donations can be arranged locally by contacting me.
